Having added the newly-announced support for the Xbox 360 Kinect, Dead Space 3 will allow players to use voice commands with the Kinect's voice command functionality to provide co-op partners with health and ammo and find objectives. Yesterday, Visceral Games VP/General Manager Steve Papoutsis declared another use for the function: swearing. Papoutsis states that cursing at the game will activate certain aspects, and that "there are commands where you might be in a certain situation and you might yell a specific expletive and it might behave in a way that you want it to."

The cussing mechanic definitely adds more intrigue to the game, but chances are it will be a difficult task to find all of these curse-activated points. Visceral also released 6 pieces of concept art from the game, showcasing the gorgeous yet horrendous beginnings of a few of the creatures and environments from this installment of Dead Space. Check them out in the slideshow above.

Dead Space 3 hits stores everywhere in the US on February 5, 2013, for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and on Feb 8 for the UK.
