On October 10, Susan Haynie announced via press release that she had raised over $60,000 for her campaign for Boca Raton Mayor. This total includes contributions from the second and third quarter fundraising periods.
“I am honored by the broad based support my campaign has received from across Boca Raton. We are running a grassroots campaign made up of residents, neighborhood leaders and community advocates. People are excited about the campaign we are running and about brining my experience and leadership to the Mayor’s office. I am looking forward to sharing my message of fiscally responsible leadership, protecting our neighborhoods and ethical public service with the residents and voters of Boca Raton,” Susan Haynie stated.
The Q3 Campaign Reports are due to the Boca Raton City Clerk on October 10. On her Q3 Campaign Report, Susan reported raising over $25,000. The quarter was anchored by a strong campaign kick-off event where over 200 Boca Raton residents, neighborhood leaders and friends attended to show their support for Susan’s Mayoral campaign. Over 270 contributions from individuals and small businesses have already been made in support of Susan Haynie’s campaign.
Susan Haynie is the Deputy Mayor of the City of Boca Raton. As Deputy Mayor, Susan has made it a priority for the Council to keep taxes low, improve public safety, protect Boca’s beaches and ensure the City is on a sustainable economic, fiscal and environmental path. Susan is a Florida Native and a 40-year resident of Boca Raton. She is a graduate of Lynn University and holds a certification in Traffic Engineering Studies from Georgia Institute of Technology and Northwestern University. Susan is married to Neil Haynie, they have five adult children and live in the Camino Gardens neighborhood.
