Susan Boyle revealed on Saturday that she will release a new Christmas album in November. The former "Britain's Got Talent" star also said that she will team up with Elvis Presley on one of the tracks, The Mirror reports.
According to Boyle herself on Facebook, the plan was to announce the new Christmas album this coming Monday, but there was an overwhelming demand so she revealed the release ahead of time. "Home For Christmas" will be her second holiday-themed album following 2010's "The Gift." On the 12-track record, she will collaborate with Johnny Mathis and the late Elvis Presley.
"To sing with Elvis, well I didn’t think it would be possible, isn’t technology brilliant. I grew up with Elvis playing in my home. My father was a huge fan, so to be able to duet with Elvis on a track on my own album, well, my father would be so proud. This song is for him and his love of Elvis," she said about her duet with Presley on "O Come, All Ye Faithful."
Susan will also team up with Mathis on "When A Child Is Born" and The Overtones on "Little Drummer Boy." This will be her fifth album since last year's Broadway-themed "Standing Ovation." "Home For Christmas" will be released on November 25.
