'Supernatural' season 9 spoilers: Sheriff Mills returns with a vampire hunt

Sheriff Mills (Kim Rhodes), one of the few surviving female recurring characters, is back in an upcoming "Supernatural" episode, 919, "Alex Annie Alexis Ann" (try saying that title five times fast), for which the CW released an official description on Thursday, April 3.

Mills returned earlier this season on "Supernatural," in "Rock and a Hard Place," when Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigated a case connected to a pro-abstinence church group, and she showed that she can handle herself when it comes to ending up in trouble on a hunt. She may have to do that again in "Alex Annie Alexis Ann," but it doesn't sound like it will be all that easy and she's going to need backup. Enter the Winchesters. Please let Sheriff Mills survive another episode.

Here's the CW's official description of "Supernatural" season 9 episode 19 "Alex Annie Alexis Ann," directed by Stefan Pleszczynski and written by Robert Berens:

"SHERIFF MILLS TRIES TO SAVE A YOUNG GIRL FROM A VAMPIRE NEST — Sheriff Mills (guest star Kim Rhodes) calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) after she kills a vampire who attacked a prisoner named Annie (guest star Katherine Ramdeen). They discover Annie was kidnapped by a family of vampires who use her as bait to lure in humans they can then feed on. Sheriff Mills tries to rescue Annie from her captors, but finds out the hard way that family always comes first."

"Supernatural" season 9 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on the CW. "Alex Annie Alexis Ann" airs April 22. What are you hoping to see in episode 19?
