SuperBot hiring for possible ‘Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale’ sequel

Although “Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale” was just released in North America, SuperBot Entertainment is already looking ahead. According to the NeoGAF forum, the studio posted a bunch of job ads looking for several new team members, including an art director and game designer / implementer. The overview section of the art director and experience required section of the game designer / implementer jobs indicates that the developer may be planning a sequel. He or she will also represent SuperBot to external vendors, IP holders, and the publisher, explaining and demonstrating the vision and how individual characters, environments, or other assets will fit.

Experience required for game designer / implementer job:

  • Must have a near encyclopedic knowledge of modern games, with emphasis on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale
  • Knowledge of fighting games, their systems and mechanics a serious plus

SuperBot Entertainment is the main developer studio behind “Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale,” which came out for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita platforms in North America on Nov. 20. Although they are an independent studio, the job ads mentioned that they will still be developing games exclusively for Sony Computer Entertainment America.
