A variety of summer options exist within our state for gifted youth. Some are residential, some day camps. Some are geared specifically toward gifted youth or subsets of the gifted population, such as the highly or exceptionally gifted, and others simply offer instruction in a field that is likely to interest certain gifted youth. Below is a listing of some of these options.
SUMMER SCIENCE INSTITUTE: Middle schoolers and advanced 5th graders (Metropolitan State College of Denver)
DENVER MUSEUM OF NATURE AND SCIENCE: Pre-K - grade 6
SCIENCE MATTERS IN AMERICA: Ages 5-11
ID-TECH CAMPS: Most ages/abilities (locations at University of Denver and also at Colorado State University in Fort Collins).
