PIONEER IN LEADERSHIP AWARD
The BYU Management Society, Utah Valley Chapter created the Pioneer in Leadership Award to recognize contemporary pioneers that exemplify the pioneer spirit of courage in adversity and integrity in leadership and to raise scholarship money for deserving BYU and UVU students. Since the Utah Valley Chapter began awarding scholarships to BYU and UVU business students in 2000 more than $60,000 dollars has been awarded to qualifying students at both schools.
The Utah Valley Chapter is proud to award Dr. Stephen R. Covey with the Pioneer in Leadership Award because he exemplifies moral and ethical leadership in his professional and personal life. We will be honoring Dr. Covey at our annual scholarship fund-raising gala on November 5 where we will enjoy fabulous entertainment and where he will be the featured speaker.
