Stephen Colbert claimed the award for Best Comedy Album tonight at the 2010 Grammy Awards, earning him his first Grammy.
In his acceptance speech, Colbert said, "This is a Christmas album, so I should thank Jesus Christ, for having such a great birthday."
Griffin and Lopez had a side bet going that if either won the award, the other would have to submit to a series of humiliating acts.

Tell it right-Colbert said Susan Boyle should be there bc she saved the recording industry (8Million CDs sold) and who needs sexy when you have talent. THAT's what he said
Yes, you missed the entire punchline of Colbert's Susan Boyle joke. After he said the sexy line he said, "Goodbye, Sexy! We're just going with singing talent this year, okay?" That was his point (sex vs talent). Then he added that the "music industry was saved by a 48 year old Scottish cat lady with sensible shoes," and asked the audience to "give it up" for Susan Boyle. He seemed to really feel she was snubbed.
He was funny!
As Kathy Griffin would say, "Suck it Colbert!" lol I think Kathy is funnier than all of em!
Yay! Colbert is one smart and funny dude.
