‘State of Decay’ will feature zombies of varying ages, but no children

Undead Labs is always good about answering fan questions and yesterday the developer responded to a player’s inquiry regarding whether gamers can expect to see creepy child zombies running amuck in their upcoming Xbox Live Arcade title, “State of Decay.” Undead Labs answered, “No kids. Not worth the inevitable fuss. A nice age spread of adults.”

So players shouldn’t expect to find undead kids biting at their ankles in the upcoming zombie game, but it does seem likely that more elderly people can be seen as the walking dead. Meaning fans might see a wide array differing zombie types and models in “State of Decay” as they will come from a varying degree of adult age groups.

State of Decay” is a zombie survival game coming to Xbox Live Arcade from Undead Labs. The game will tasks player to form a community of survivors in order to try to outlive the dead by collecting supplies and building structures.
