When you think of industry in Washington State, aerospace, tourism, and perhaps coffee franchises come to mind. However, one of the largest industries in Washington is agriculture.

According to the USDA, Washington’s agricultural production was worth nearly $9.5 billion in 2011.

On Feb. 5-7, 2013, Greater Spokane Inc., and the Spokane Convention Center will host the 36th Annual Ag Expo and Pacific Northwest Farm Forum.

The Ag expo website states, "Ag Expo includes hundreds of exhibits, seminars and forums relating to agribusiness, from large-scale operations to part-time small acreage farms and ranches."

There are dozens of seminars available on topics ranging from family farming business, crop care, and wolf management.
