"Sons of Anarchy" is preparing for season seven and the finale of the series and Enstars reported on Feb. 26 that creator Kurt Sutter talked about who will be coming back to the show for its final explosive episodes. Here are some "Sons of Anarchy" spoilers for who Kurt Sutter says is coming back this season.
Of course, Charlie Hunnam (Jax) and Katey Sagal (Gemma) will be back and it is smart money to bet that these two will end of clashing to bring an explosive end to the series. As most "Sons of Anarchy" fans know, this story is homage to Shakespeare and "Hamlet," so that should tell anyone what they can expect from the end.
Also returning for the final season is Jimmy Smits, who plays the popular pimp Nero Padilla. CCH Pounder should also be returning as Tyne Patterson, but her availability will depend on "NCIS: New Orleans," which she was also cast to star in. Also, Kim Dickens (Collette) will star in the new show "Backstrom" so her availability will be limited as well in season seven.
Kurt Sutter also once again emphasized that the final season of the show will include 13 episodes and will extend beyond the 60 minute mark for many of them, just like they did in season six. Thanks to the popularity and high ratings for "Sons of Anarchy," FX doesn't seem to mind the overrun of the shows.
According to Kurt Sutter, there should be enough extra material to provide a number of extra episodes. Sons of Anarchy season seven premieres in fall 2014.
