So You Think You Can Dance Photo: Twitpic Ellen DeGeneres
On this episode of FOX’s hit reality TV show “So You Thing You Can Dance,” the eight remaining contestants began with a group dance route choreographed by former contestant Travis Wall. The glowing group danced to “Let it Ride” they received the following comment on their performance from judge Nigel Lythgoe, “Very Lady Gaga…it was a great opening to the show.”
Ellen DeGeneres brought a large amount of comedic relief to the judges table, although at times looking seemingly a bit nervous. In addition to the group dance, host Cat Deeley announced tonight’s show would include two sets of couple’s dances and eight solo dances.
The men got to pick their partners for this week out of a hat and the couples were: Evan and Janette, Jeanine and Brandon, Ade and Melissa, and Jason and Kayla.
All couples were complemented and critiqued by the judges on their performances including Ellen DeGeneres who used her quick witted humor to replace her need of technical knowledge for the dancer’s critiques.

It was true Ellen loooked a little scared, but I think she did a great job, she was really qick with thecomments and stood true to herself, she din't know about the technical stuff and so she did comedy great job Ellen!!!
Ellen! I was shocked at your appearance. Please eat something. You look anorexic and older than me. I'm 70. Maybe if you ate, you wouldn't be so nervous either. Relax and look your age. Yikes!
NormaThomas- Shut up!! You have no reason to pick on Ellen! Ellen is NOT anorexic, I've met Ellen in person and she's very healthy looking and has some good healthy meat and curves on her and also she's VEGAN that's why she looks thinner than usual. You have no reason to talk crap about her, you're just jealous of her! You wrote the most ignorant and stupidest comment I've ever seen about Ellen, you definetly need some friends bc you sound like a miserable person by the things you write.
I'm with you Kathe. There's no reason to pick on Ellen's weight, that was uncalled for.
