The long-awaited 1.7 update for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim update was released to the Playstation 3 on Thursday.

"PS3 folks, Skyrim 1.7 [North America] update should be live. Please note that it will say update 1.06," Bethesda VP Pete Hines announced via Twitter.

Hines previously explained that the European release of the Skyrim 1.7 update was still in the certification process for that region.
