Comic Kathy Griffin shocked CNN viewers who tuned in to watch the New Year's Eve show from Times Square when she simulated oral sex on host Anderson Cooper.

The story is making headlines in the UK and in the States. A Daily Mail headline screamed, "CNN viewers stunned as Kathy Griffin tries to perform oral sex on Anderson Cooper live on New Year's Eve broadcast."
The London-based paper included the video of Griffin's antics embedded in the article. Click here for the article and the video. It was the sixth year that Griffin appeared on the show. In 2009, she dropped the F-bomb on the air. Last year, she stripped down to her panties and bra.
Griffin also joked about singer Taylor Swift who was performing in the background while she and Cooper were on the air. Griffin suggested that Swift had an eating disorder or is anorexic.
Early in the broadcast Griffin told Anderson she was going to "tickle his sack,"
Cooper responded, "I don't know what you're talking about. I have no sack of gifts here."
Then Griffin replied, 'You're calling your privates your Christmas presents?'
Cooper tossed to CNN reporter Gary Tuchman who was in Eastport, Maine. The tradition there is to kiss a giant mock sardine that they drop from a museum in the town.
CNN cut to Griffin kissing Cooper's crotch. She told Cooper that she would be on the David Letterman show in a couple of days and needed a "moment" for him.
