On Monday, March 11, 2013 Sterling Ministries, in conjunction with The Lay School, here in Clinton, Tennessee announced the long-anticipated completion of the standardization of the color-coding used in The Color-Coded Bible - King James Version with the fifteen other English translations/versions in the side-by-side, verse-by-verse, comparison study that it has been working on for the past several months/years. Inside sources explain that during the color-coding of Isaiah it was determined that the initial color-coding of several passages of these fifteen other English translations/version did not match that of the current color-coding of The King James Version, so all continued work was suspended well over a year ago and all efforts were directed to correcting this perceived deficiency. The Reverend J.A. Layman, evangelist and instructor with Sterling Ministries, stated, "It was a pain-staking and slow process to retrace the work we had already accomplished the past few years, but all the hard work and diligence in standardizing the color-coding has created a much more accurate picture of just how similar these sixteen English translations/versions are, and just how infinitesimally small the differences are in comparison! In short, God's message has remained relatively the same for well over 2600 years across the time frame that these sixteen translations/versions of The Bible represent!'
Layman continued, "As a peripheral result of this standardization of the color-coding, AND, with the completion of this color-coding project squarely on the horizon," (Layman estimates that sometime during 2013, if all goes well, this side-by-side, verse-by-verse, comparison study will be completed) "Sterling Ministries is making plans to combine these sixteen color-coded translations/version of the English Bible into three massive digital volumes in parallel format; whereas to date, these works have only been available in single file pdf format. The plan is to include The King James Version in each of the three volumes as the control translation/version (after all it is the one translation/version of The Bible that has been under vehement attack for at least the past 150 years) with the remaining translations/versions categorized into ANCIENT, CONTEMPORARY with The King James Version, and MORE MODERN translations/versions."
"There appears to be no end to the leadership of the Holy Spirit in these studies," Layman concluded, "just as we are about to complete one set of studies, God leads us into yet another way to present our work, His truths, and continue to be a leader at the front of the war being waged against God, Jesus Christ, and The Bible, especially The King James Version! Sterling Ministries has long been active as a fundamentalist/conservative leader in the fight against the moderates/liberals as well as atheists, agnostics, and other critics, who insist that The King James Version of The Bible is not trustworthy because it is full of errors! Our side-by-side, verse-by-verse, comparison study is proving this allegation absolutely false as we continue our work day by day! In addition, and contrariwise, Sterling Ministries has also been active as a moderate/liberal leader in the fight against the fundamentalists/conservatives who adopt and insist on the position that The King James Version of The Bible is the O N L Y trustworthy English translation; as the multitude of similarities, as well as the large number of verses which are almost, if not actually, word-for-word identical, attest to! If there is anything else to be said about this side-by-side, verse-by-verse, comparison study, it is this: our faith in God's Word, King James Version or otherwise, has been increased 4000% as we have been willing to submit to the leadership of the Holy Spirit and embark on this massive study comparing these sixteen English translations/versions verse-by-verse, instead of simply accepting the claims of either the fundamentalists, conservatives, moderates, liberals, atheists, agnostics, and other critics! AND, hopefully our work will serve to finally put this debate over the actual text(s) of God's Word in the various translations/versions, fueled and sparked by the rise of textual criticism (results that have been largely kept from the general public and especially the church at large, as the various factions and leaders for the respective positions have chosen to knit-pick at a scant few carefully chosen proof texts to support their positions, instead of clearly and faithfully reporting the TRUTHS of the matter to not only the church-at-large, but a lost and dying world)!"
"One final note," Layman proffered, "we at Sterling Ministries are constantly reminding ourselves that the proliferation of attacks on God, Jesus Christ, and The Bible, as well as the theological debates over doctrine and practice, are merely fulfillment of the prophecies contained in those very same Scriptures, regardless of the translation/version that before the advent of the antichrist there MUST BE a great 'falling away' first (2 Thessalonians 2:2), and the prophet Amos warned that the days would come when God would send a great famine, a famine of the hearing of the Word of God (Amos 8:11); NOT, a shortage of the Word (for there are hundreds of various translations/versions of The Bible, and tens of thousands of extant translations, versions, copies, papyri, and miniscules in several languages) but a shortage of the HEARING of the Word of God! The attacks and proliferation of outright lies, deceit, and mis-information about God's Word and the actual form in which it can be found in the translations and versions, emanating from secular and sacred sources alike, are merely indicative of the signs of the times, and the fulfillment of God's prophecies. Those who hold The King James Version in contempt as well as those who hold it in extreme reverence need to realize that this side-by-side, verse-by-verse, comparison study Sterling Ministries is in the final stages of completing, is, one instance by one instance, calling them on the deceit they have been perpetuating against God's Word, and manifesting the truth that God's Word has been and continues to remain the same, despite man's best efforts to anull it!"
