Savannah murder suspect thought to be in Marietta is captured

A Savannah man who authorities have been looking for for several months was captured on April 3 in Savannah. According to a statement released by authorities today, he remains in jail with no bond.

Savannah Metro officers, along with the the U.S. Marshal's Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested David Randy Daniels Jr., 21, during a home search that was prompted by a Crime Stoppers call. Daniels' half-brother, Madison Larry Freeland, was also arrested and charged with hindering the apprehension of a criminal. Both suspects were in the home, located on Base Drive, where numerous drugs and firearms were also found and seized.

Daniels has been charged with the murder deaths of two teens, including Syheem Spaulding, 15, and Dominique Bright, 18. He's also charged with the shooting of Sha'nai Harris, 15, who survived the incident.
