Sarah Silverman has been criticized by Bill O’Reilly of Fox News’ “O’Reilly Factor” following the comedian’s release of a video in which she discusses abortion with a foul-mouthed Jesus. Of Sarah Silverman, O’Reilly’s outrage at her video has heightened to the point that he says he would like to throw a pie at her. According to an Inquisitr report on Friday, O’Reilly finds her video extremely offensive - as do many other viewers of the video.
In the video, Sarah Silverman hears Jesus tell her that “Fertilized eggs aren’t people. People are people.” Beyond getting controversial with the abortion issue, the Jesus in Silverman's routine says the unspeakable “F-word” as well.
Joining O’Reilly on his program was conservative-talker Laura Ingraham who bashed Silverman earlier in the day by saying that Silverman is a degenerate, foul-mouthed slob of a person.
Silverman also spoke to a comment that Mike Huckabee recently made to the Republican National Committee when he said – at their annual winter meeting – “<Women need to> control their libido.” To that, Silverman asserted, “I guess I’m stunned, but at the same time, it’s so bizarre. <Huckabee> says he wants women to control their libido… I, too, would like to control my libido and my reproductive system.”
She also said, “These are people who are anti-big government, and yet they want to make laws about my vagina, and what I do with my body." Silverman went on to say that she didn't think that would be tolerated if there was legislation regarding a man's body.
It’s safe to say that Silverman is getting a long way from what find funny at all – especially for an alleged comedian. It’s also safe to say that Silverman and the team of Bill O’Reilly, Laura Ingraham, and Mike Huckabee won’t be agreeing on anything social or political in the near future. For certain, "team O'Reilly" and Silverman don't agree on what Silverman must think is comedic.
