TV Line got the exclusive story behind Sarah Michelle Gellar's possible return to television in a new sitcom that will be shopped around in the coming months The article which was published Jan. 5, 2013 states that the new possible series has no title but the plot promises a lot of laughs. The sitcom will showcase the interesting situations that parents get into when the kids are not at home. Gellar is set to play the mother/wife and the father/husband at the time of this post has not been named.
Who do you think should play the daddy? Gellar fans may remember the now cancelled series "Ringer" which aired on the CW last year. It was a far cry from a comedy. While comedy is not the first thing that pops into one's mind when they think of Gellar it would be interesting to see how this works out for her. It seems the networks and fans have really gotten behind sitcoms over the last year (which is evident by the large amount of new sitcoms on multiple networks). What are your thoughts? Do you think she will do well in a sitcom if it is picked up?
