“I saw a ship and two creatures inside of this ship… And they were connected to me, tapped into my mind through some kind of mysterious wireless connection,” explains Sammy Hagar in his new book, Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock. The brief memoir, whose release coincides with "Alien Abduction Day", is not the first instance in which the former Van Halen singer has offered public disclosures of ET contact. A new report from a Vancouver audio lab suggests that Sammy Hagar was covertly communicating about alien abduction as early as 1991. A secret message encrypted backwards in Mr. Hagar's 20-year-old remarks stating how “Aliens abducted me,” is the subject of a new Secret Message Report – Podcast Edition episode, produced in Vancouver by Vancouver UFO Examiner, Jon Kelly.
Day of Abduction
eHow.com explains more about Alien Abduction Day and its possible origins: “Every March 20th, the sky's are carefully watched by those expecting/wishing to be abducted by an alien life form. The exact origin of this strange but very real holiday is unknown. Rumor has it, an abduction may be to blame.” Further reporting from Fox News cites the role of the 2008 Toronto Alien Abduction Festival in popularizing the unusual holiday. A poster for the event promised to provide attendees with free UFO rides and random abduction incidents along with “grooves for intergalactic travel”.
No Doubt
MTVHive reported today how Sammy Hagar has no doubt when it comes to what he describes as a “download situation” involving ET's that took place during a lucid dream. “That happened. That friggin’ happened, I’ll tell you right now. Another thing happened when I was about four that I didn’t put into the book. One time I saw what I considered to be, well, at the time I thought it was a car with no wheels. We lived out in the country and I saw this thing floating across a field, creating this big dust storm. I threw rocks at it ... And I don’t know what happened after that.”
Further elaborating on his Tesla-like wireless communications from an era prior to the cellular age, Sammy Hagar emphasized to the MTVHive audience how “It was real. [Aliens] were plugged into me. It was a download situation. This was long before computers or any kind of wireless. There weren’t even wireless telephones. Looking back now, it was like, “[T]hey downloaded something into me!” Or they uploaded something from my brain, like an experiment. “See what this guy knows.””
Mirror Messages
The open source analytic methodology used in detecting the secret messages of Sammy Hagar reflected a graph of his digitally sampled speech across the Y axis, enabling audio playback and monitoring in reverse. The messages detected through this procedure are formed by unconscious processes related to sleep talking and Freudian slips. These communications repeatedly provide involuntary disclosures that reveal hidden contents of the speaker's unconscious mind. Examiner.com has also reported how Vancouver-based investigative research studying the detection of secret messages encrypted backwards within the human voice fulfills legacy demands from the scientific community for an advanced technique of UFO witness interrogation. Eminent researcher and US government UFO scientist Dr. J. Allen Hynek wrote in his book The UFO Experience - A Scientific Inquiry how "[The 1960's US Air Force Project] Blue Book was a "cover-up" to the extent that the assigned problem was glossed over for one reason or another. In my many years association with Blue Book, I do not recall ever one serious discussion of methodology, of improving the process of data gathering or of techniques of comprehensive interrogation of witnesses."

This method complies with the standards and results of a published study in which human listeners monitored speech sounds that had been subject to various degrees of mirror filtering in order to measure their relative intelligibility under highly filtered conditions. Commenting on the results of this study, Britain’s prestigious Royal Society noted how "It is remarkable that speech remains reasonably intelligible even under conditions of extreme distortion, such as ... time reversal of segments of speech (Saberi & Perrott 1999)" - Brian C.J. B12 March 2008 vol. 363 no. 1493 947-963) The authors of the study told Nature, one of the premier publications in science, how "We have studied the intelligibility of speech, and find it is resistant to time reversal of local segments of a spoken sentence" - Kourosh Saberi and David R. Perrott, "Cognitive restoration of reversed speech", (Nature 398 (29 April 1999) 760). One of the authors, distinguished University of California, Irvine Professor of Cognitive Sciences Kourosh Saberi even went so far as to state how "Speech is a multidimensional stimulus. There are different ways you can extract a message from it.”

During a 1991 interview with MTV's Famous Last Words, Sammy Hagar discussed the meaning behind the Van Halen song Poundcake. “Can I say this on TV? Well, really, in all honesty, Poundcake is about ... You know, I'm trying to make it serious because everyone, the obvious one – it's obvious. But it's really just about a woman whose not trying to be anything else and not trying to compete with a man. And this isn't chauvinistic because men have their problems too, you know. But, it's like, to me, there shouldn't be a competition. A woman's a woman, a man is a man.”

Sammy Hagar's secret alien abduction message parallels the unconscious communications of other experiencers who have made related claims of ET contact over a number of decades. Is it only by chance that the rock star's secret message mirrors those detected in the testimonies from other well-known UFO abduction cases? The communications legacy of those prior witnesses indicates an overarching historic trend of disclosure to which Mr. Hagar's statements only provide additional support.

He knew planes and he's trying to identify this and it's flying in a very erratic manner which was very puzzling to us. But this is '61. We'd heard of UFO's, actually in those days they were called flying saucers. We had no idea what a flying saucer looked like. But we had no fear, just curiosity. We were trying to identify this craft.”

1967 – Betty Andreasson Luca – Like a scene from the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Betty Andreasson was in her kitchen around 6:30 PM on the night of January 25, 1967 when lights in the house began to blink and a red light beamed into the house through the kitchen window. “Beings have been here since the beginning of our time and they have been watching over nature and all the natural forms and see the trouble that we're in. I believe that is one thing, but I think there is also hope that love is the answer for all of us. You know, one person at a time trying to help another person. Just spreading that love as far as possible.”
The secret message says, “On the saucer. Upset. Save all.”
1967 – Herbert Schirmer – On December 3, 1967 policeman Herbert Schirmer was in his patrol car investigating an object with red lights coming from portholes that he recognized as a disc-shaped UFO hovering eight feet above the ground. “When I was 17 years old I went into the military service, United States Navy, and my first duty station was Jacksonville, Florida. And then from there, I went over to the Fort Worth [?] command and I helped serve our flag and fight for it in Vietnam, even though I felt it was a immoral act of a war.”

1973 – Charles Hickson – On October 10, 1973 Calvin Parker and Charles Hickson were fishing on the shore of the Pascagoula River in Mississippi when they heard a buzzing sound, then turned to see an egg-shaped object hovering over the water close to their location. "But we talked it over again and decided we would call the Sheriff's department. And Sheriff Fred Diamond told us to come on over there, that we'd talk about it. So, we stayed there for several hours talking and them questioning us. And the Sheriiff promised me that it wouldn't, any news media know anything about it. That he would try and get it to the proper authorities, if he could find out who the proper authorities was and have it investigated."
