SAG awards worst dressed list (Photos)

There's nothing wrong with a fashion risk, but this year the actresses (or as SAG calls them, "female actors") left much to be desired for the red carpet looks. While no one took a risk, there were an array of so-so dresses that didn't quite make the cut.

None of the looks were hideous, but with the faces and figures of these lovely ladies we could have had a few wow moments that would live in the red carpet hall of fame. Instead, we have this:

Marion Cotillard - Not the worst look we've ever seen on the red carpet, but Cotillard's classic beauty doesn't match up with the quirky tone of this Dior Haute Couture evening gown. The awkward empire waist and asymmetrical hemline aren't doing her any favors.

Claire Danes - The Homeland actress won big, but her custom Givenchy was a flop. After turning out at the Golden Globes in that stunning poppy Calvin Klein number, we expected more from Danes.

Jessica Chastain - This look had the right idea behind it, but was poorly executed due to the fit. Chastain's svelte figure was poured into the red Alexander McQueen gown and looked uncomfortable. The result was gown with a classic shape that was all wrong due to fit.

Anne Hathaway - The actress opted for Giambattista Valli Haute Couture. It wasn't the dress itself, but more of a fit issue (again!). The bodice was loose, the skirt had an awkward A-line shape and the tea length made Hathaway look almost stumpy when she's anything but!

January Jones - No comment. The dress was by Prabal Gurung.
