Fans of former Texas Republican Congressman Ron Paul will have a chance to see him up close and personal during a book signing in Orlando at the 5th Annual Liberty Summit scheduled April 4, 2014 through April 6, 2014. Ron Paul's son, Republican U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky will provide a speech Saturday evening via Skype. Little word if he will announce his candidacy to run for president in 2016.

The event will be attended by Republicans, Libertarians and Democrats who are seeking to learn ways to be more effective in the political process to make the nation more freedom oriented - something clearly lacking from the federal government the last 20 years.

Since the event will mainly be run by Campaign for Liberty and the Young Americans for Liberty, it will be a mostly Republican event and there will be libertarian-leaning Republicans in attendance. Although there are many libertarian-minded organizations as co-sponsors, attendees should not expect any Libertarian Party banners.

Tomorrow evening Ron Paul will deliver the key note speech followed by him signing books for attendees. The book signing for him and another by Matt Kibbe are free while the cost to attend the event is anywhere from $49 to $500 depending upon what you would like to do. The folks from Institute for Justice will also be speaking on property and business rights for Americans on Saturday along with over 30 other speakers throughout the weekend.
