Rod Stewart extends 2014 Caesars Palace residency in Las Vegas

Rod Stewart has added a string of fall show dates to his record-breaking residency at The Colosseum At Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The two-time Rock N' Roll Hall of Famer will celebrate the third anniversary of his ongoing residency by closing out the year with an additional two months worth of shows.

According to news release posted April 29 by AEG Live in association with Caesars Palace, the ex-Faces frontman has extended his "Rod Stewart: The Hits Tour" run with 18 new shows, which will be added from Sept. 20 - Nov. 23. The show features the iconic Grammy-winning British rocker strutting his stuff and banging out songs from his huge back catalogue of hits, including: “Maggie May,” “Tonight’s The Night,” "You Wear It Well," "You're in My Heart," "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy," "Forever Young," “Passion,” and many more

New dates include: Sept. 20-21, 24, 26-27, 30; Oct. 2 4-5; Nov. 5, 8-9, 12, 15-16, 19, 22-23. Tickets go on sale May 3 at 10 a.m. Tickets are also available for Stewart's current run at the Colosseum, which kicks off April 30 - May 17. Tickets can be purchased here.

The "Young Turks" hitmaker will be teaming up with Carlos Santana for a co-headlining tour of Canada and the U.S. this summer. The pair of rock icons will take a break from their respective Las Vegas residencies to hit the road in May for an 18-city romp, which will include four stops in western Canada.

The tour will begin May 23 in Albany, N.Y. at Times Union Center and wraps up Aug. 2 at Wantagh, N.Y. at Jones Beach.
