Tourists or Baltimoreans alike might want to check out Hard Rock Café’s happy hour at their pier in Baltimore Harbor. The free music rocks, the food and drinks are damn good especially with half off happy hour.
A recent media gathering at the newly renovated Hard Rock Café Pier gave a number of us an opportunity to taste their food and drink. It was a perfect early summer evening, a slight breeze, the view of Baltimore’s harbor outstanding, music rocking and a front row seat to serious people watching.
So let’s talk Hard Rock Café Pier’s happy hour details.
1. Monday through Friday from 3pm to 7pm at their outdoor pier
2. Free entertainment – check out their listing of live bands and DJ’s HERE
3. Drinks: $3 Bud, Bud Light, Corona, Corona Light, Michelob Ultra. $4 Drafts. $5 Margaritas & Hurricanes
4. Food: 1/2 Off All Appetizers (Excluding Crab Cake Appetizer) & $3 Maryland Fries
Kicking off my happy hour with a Hurricane and sharing Pier Nachos with another guest - they were good, the nachos were nice and crisp and the Pico de Gallo freshly made.
Keeping the food light for the warm summer night I got my hands a bit dirty but oh worth it with Old Bay Peel N Eat Shrimp served on a bed of ice, lemon and a good rendition of cocktail sauce. The Crab Cobb Salad didn’t disappoint either; crab, avocado, tomato, bacon, hard-boiled egg, shredded cheese over mixed greens – as for dressings, choose from a selection of offerings.
Want a burger or sandwich, not to worry – choose their Legendary Burger or the local Legendary Burger with crab meat. The Hard Rock Café Baltimore offers a crab cake sandwich as well as honey mustard grilled chicken on their Pier Menu.
You can make happy hour a late lunch since it kicks off at 3 p.m. and get the discounted drinks and food.
