In Virginia, we have a perfect example of what is shamefully wrong with our entire political system. Libertarian candidate for Governor, Robert Sarvis has been excluded from the final gubernatorial debate.
If the American people want to ever get back any resemblance of free and fair elections, they must take a stand and demand that this candidate be allowed in the final debate before the upcoming November election.
The rules agreed upon by only the two challengers was a polling average of 10%. Conveniently, the only poll being used is by RealClearPolitics showing a current daily average of 9.8%, I guess they don't know how to round-up to the nearest whole number? That is also well within any poll's margin of error. And why are third party candidates always excluded from the debate negotiations and agreements to begin with?
WDBJ7 will live up to the agreement we have with both of your campaigns,” Zuber continued, “but want you to know we would certainly entertain an amendment to the agreement allowing Mr. Sarvis to participate with no restrictions. Our organization is dedicated to providing as much information to the voters as possible.
If the two major party candidates had any shred of decency, they would be the ones demanding that Sarvis be allowed into the debate. Don't hold your breath on that ever happening though because one thing both major parties can always agree on in a bipartisan fashion is to exclude third party candidates from the discussion. If they are so great as candidates, then why are they constantly so afraid for voters to see all the candidates on the ballot? The answer to that question should be pathetically obvious by now. They are not that great and that is why they constantly pull together to exclude all other candidates.
This is not even a matter of having 20 candidates running and not having enough air time or room on a stage to allow them all to participate. This is about 3 candidates, all with a significant amount of support. The debate sponsor is even willing to pull-up a 3rd podium or chair.
This commonly occurring problem is about what is wrong with our entire political system and it is time for Americans everywhere to stop this insane system that has been destroying our nation for decades.
Please watch embedded video produced by Astrid Sarvis and then show your support as an American and demand that Robert Sarvis is included in this final gubernatorial debate. It is time for the major party candidates to finally do the right thing for a change.
If he still is not allowed into debate, voters should money bomb his campaign so he has funds to fairly get his message out over these last days before the election.
This insane, un-American political system must stop being such a complete sham. Why not put a stop to it in Virginia? Why not now?
