Guess who's back to work?

Robert Pattinson (the indomitable Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga), after making an appearance at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, has arrived to Adelaide, Australia to begin working on his next project, The Rover.

According to Adelaide Now, Pattinson was scoped out by a few resourceful fans and greeted at the airport.

Pattinson previously spoke up about the film - in which he's expected to portray a car thief opposite Guy Pearce - to IndieWire, calling it "a kind of a western" which also happens to be "very existential."

"It's really interesting," he said. "I couldn't really explain to you what it's about but it's sort of about how much pain can the world take and how much disgust and cruelty before love dies. I think that's kind of what it's about."

This is Pattinson's first filming project since 2011, when he worked on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 and David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis.
