“The Real Housewives of New York” star Aviva Drescher spent much of her story line on the show last season talking about her struggles with her past. She mentioned her accident numerous times because it caused several fears and struggles in her life. She couldn’t ride elevators and she couldn’t fly in small planes. According to a new Bravo blog published on Sept. 23, “The Real Housewives of New York” star Aviva Drescher is now revealing that her book will talk about her prosthetic leg.
Of course, many fans of the show thought that she talked too much about her past accident, but it sounds like she will continue to share her story in her book. “I’ve always wanted to write a book about how it is to navigate life with a prosthetic leg and I also wanted to share my life experiences, of which there are many crazy ones, and also delightful ones,” she revealed in an interview with Bravo.
And it sounds like Aviva has experience with writing. “And I have a knack for writing, a little one, because in high school my college essay was published in a book called 500 Best Essays Ever Written and that was when I was 17. And a couple years ago I had an opportunity to write an essay for Chicken Soup for the Soul, and it got published,” she adds.
Many of the books published by Real Housewives stars have indeed been co-written with other authors. Those that haven’t, have been slammed for being poorly written. It sounds like this book will be worth picking up.
Will you pick up her book?
