“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Jacqueline Laurita was open about her son, Nicholas, being autistic on the show. She has used the platform to spread the word about autism, treatment options and being an encouragement to other parents struggling with autistic children. And now, Jenny McCarthy has come forward with an admission. According to a new Bravo report published on Jan. 6, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Jacqueline Laurita is now defending Jenny McCarthy, who recently revealed that her son does have autism.
Jenny has often spoken out about autism. Her son, Evan, was diagnosed with the disorder, but she hasn’t really been outspoken about him. But she's written books, spoken at engagements and used her celebrity status to find support from those living with autistic children or living with autism. No matter what she has said, Jacqueline stands behind her.
“Let's not forget that Jenny McCarthy has been a very proactive mom&took time2help many by raising Autism awareness&writing books2help others,” Jacqueline revealed on Twitter. It sounds like she enjoys having someone to look up to as Jenny is using her famous platform for something good.
