“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey has revealed that she had told NeNe about the event and had even called her several times to get her to show up to Kenya Moore's home. But she didn't tell her that she was the guest of honour. Of course, NeNe denies being invited but Kenya claims that she could tell via her email that the invitation had been opened and read. According to a new Bravo report published on Feb. 20, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey is now revealing that Kenya told her not to tell NeNe about the charity event, because she wanted it to be a surprise.

“FYI: When Kenya initially started planning her event for NeNe, I remember her telling me that it was supposed to be a big surprise, and not to say anything to NeNe yet. I promised her that I wouldn't. I talk to NeNe almost every day, and I'm pretty sure that I mentioned to her that Kenya was planning something for her and would probably be reaching out soon,” Cynthia has revealed.

Cynthia didn’t tell NeNe about the event. “I am not big on surprises (even though Peter insists on surprising me all the time), so I just wanted to give NeNe the heads up to expect a call or something from Kenya. It was always Kenya's place to extend a formal invitation to NeNe and give her all the details,” she added.

When NeNe showed up, she made a scene during a speech, which had people concerned about the friendship. However, NeNe has apologized for it. Do you think Cynthia should have been honest with NeNe or respected Kenya's wishes for it to be a surprise?
