Man, it's good to see Rev. Run back on TV ever since "Run's House" went off the air -- and equally good to see Tyrese Gibson -- so popular that he really only goes by Tyrese -- and that's he's okay in the wake of those scary-sounding voicemails leaked to the public in recent years.
Dr. Oz just showed a clip of the duo pitching their new book, Manology: Secrets of Your Man's Mind Revealed, which is enjoying a nice selling rank on Amazon, and a healthy 77 reviews from customers right now.
"Some guys say, 'You're breaking the bro code,'" Rev. Run told Dr. Oz, with the former Run DMC rapper taking an obvious page from the book that Steve Harvey started with his "Think Like a Man" series.
"I want a seasoned woman, but I don't want to date my mama," Tyrese says, standing over the standard Dr. Oz purple table with organs on it -- or was it just a buzzer as they took a quiz and broke it down for ladies in the audience how men purportedly really think.
"I don't want to get in trouble with my wife. Happy wife, happy life," Rev. Run says, making us miss Justine Simmons and the way she'd whine "Joe" or "Joey" -- or her standard "Praise the Lord" way of answering their phone.
Bring that whole family back to TV, please! In the meantime, we can get an update of Rev. Run on Dr. Oz's Wednesday show.
