Media Create today revealed the first week sales results for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the recently-released multiplatform title, Resident Evil 6. So how much did the sequel sell compared to Resident Evil 5? According to Media Create, Resident Evil 6 has sold 676,585 units total, with 634,933 units being on the Playstation 3 with 41,652 units of the Xbox 360 version being sold. In comparison, 398,747 copies of Resident Evil 5 were sold in Japan when the game came out in 2008, with 319,590 being on the Playstation 3 and 79,157 on the Xbox 360.
