Republican National Convention Tampa Bay Florida 2012
Public Domain

For those among you who are hardcore Republican or Democrat Loyalists and/or Uncle Tom political operatives ( ) , you can move along now. You saw what you wanted to see at the RNC:

Status Quo election year politics.

We’re Republicans Blah, Blah, Blah with Democratic Blah, Blah, Blah right on its heals

However, for those of you who fall into any of these following 3 categories, please read on:

1) Those Patriots who put loyalty to the 3 C’s (County, Constitution and fellow Citizens) before loyalty to party, please continue reading;

2) Those Patriots that feel an obligation to defend, protect and claw back the liberties and freedoms that others before us fought and died for;

3) Those Patriots who feel an obligation to restore and ensure for their children and future generations, the liberties and freedoms you have enjoyed during your life time;

4) Those who are not mindless sheep, cowering in fear of confrontation, going along to get along.

This analysis is not going to be the same old blah, blah, blah dished out by the two major parties and regurgitated by the major media. We are going to do some outside the box thinking and explore the internet for an uncensored and unscripted perception of reality held by average Americans.

In the course of this article, we are going to talk about 3 major points:

1) Disenfranchisement;

2) Illusion of “Business as usual”;

3) American Spring

The major media touched on the issues of RNC rules changes. They attributed these to the Romney campaign. This writer believes the GOP Establishment had as much a hand in this rule change duplicity as did Candidate Romney. This author contends the GOP Establishment’s intent with these rule changes was to repress, suppress and oppress a chorus of voices that have risen within the Republican Party. A chorus of voices that challenge the corrupt, duplicitous status quo of the Republican Establishment (and Democrat Establishment)

This new chorus of voices is composed of Ron Paulers, the Liberty Movement and the TEA Party movement. These new voices have recognized the duplicity of the Republican Establishment and aim to “take back the party”. The Republican Establishment, quite predictably, likes the status quo and the power it has under the current status quo.

The TAR (Transparency, Accountability and Reform) that these various conservative groups espouse is challenging the status quo and the Power of the Republican Party elite. The GOP Establishment, therefore, is doing whatever it can to maintain their power and the status quo.

But these new conservative groups trying to squeeze into the Republican Tent, represent a major change and quandary fro the Republican Elite. In the past, the rank and file membership was more naïve, malleable and unorganized. The Republican Establishment was taken off guard and frightened by the prospect of an uncertain outcome to the convention. And the GOP Establishment determined it would not risk what it saw as “chaos” . The GOP elite would not allow these new voices demanding TAR a chance to speak, nominate their candidates and/or press their agenda. The GOP Elite determined it would avoid what it saw as potential chaos, by bypassing the troublesome delegates by changing the rules.

And in the angst of the moment the Republican Establishment and Candidate Romney made a huge mistake and missed an opportunity. The GOP Establishment’s first counter measures of “stealth” rule changes and pure “Might makes Right”, have led to distrust and reduced credibility from those within this new chorus of voices.

The machinations of Candidate Romney and the GOP Establishment have disenfranchised a large portion of TAR supporters and alerted other previously unaware conservatives, of the duplicity of the Republican Establishment.

Whoever was responsible, whether it was Candidate Romney or the Republican Establishment or both, failed to recognize the consequences of and the opportunity presented by a “messy”, un-orchestrated convention.

Through the chaos of free speech, free debate and free elections comes reconciliation, understanding, resignation and comradery.

In a messy, spontaneous converntion, everyone gets to feel they that had a chance to say their piece, press their agenda and support their candidate. The chaos of the process gives legitimacy to the result. An unorchestrated convention provides a opportunity for delegates to say to opposing delegates, “I can agree on that issue to this point, or with these caveats” It also gives candidates unlikely to win an opportunity and leverage to negotiate concessions from the winner on behalf of his followers in exchange for withdrawing from the contest. And it gives credibility and legitimacy to the outcome.

When the leadership of any organization ignores its rules, or changes them by stealth, or simply acts with a “Might Makes Right” mentality they reduce or eliminate the chaos at the expense of free speech, free debate and the “opportunity” for delegates (and all Americans) to “come together” during the course of the convention. And, perhaps most importantly, the results do not seem legitimate and many people feel disenfranchised.

Candidate Romney and/or Republican Establishment, you violated the rules of decorum, fairness and democracy when you moved to change the rules to exclude this new chorus of voices.

Candidate Romney and/or Republican Establishment, in so doing you have caused driven the oppressed voices to loudly consider establishing a 3rd party and less loudly, to consider open rebellion.

Not what you want in tight presidential race.

During the convention, this writer heard more of business as usual.

Jobs, economy, religion, gay marriage and abortion.

All the polarizing, emotional issues that Propagandist Edward Bernays would have ordered. ( )

This author notes that several articles regarding the RNC appeared with titles same or similar to this sentiment or observation:

This past Labor Day weekend, as this writer watched the major media coverage of the convention and the presidential election race, it seemed like a more than usual effort to treat this election as “business as usual” The political pendant talking heads seemed to be everywhere pushing the illusion of “Remain calm, all is well” ( )

As this writer listened to Clint talk to an empty chair, he wondered why he was wasting his time listening to the same political dog and pony show that he has seen over and over during the many elections since his 18th birthday.

The Republicans and Democrats make their same old promises to their rank and file membership and then sell their votes to the highest bidder the day after the election. (This writer waited to publish this article during the DNC, to ensure the Democrats did not change their convention formula)

After each election, their respective platforms and party ideals mean nothing to those who were elected or reelected. Once again, they become just meaningless words to convince some segment of the population to listen to them….

The agenda and the talking points were so predictable, that this writer barely made it through Romney’s acceptance speech…. It was a close race between the sleep laden eyelids and the off button pushing, channel changing finger.

Especially for you new, young enthusiastic voters, the dirty little secret is that the Conventions are the political equivalent of All Star Wrestling. They are scripted and choreographed to achieve the desired effect. That desired effect being to get rank and file members emotionally invested in voting for their party’s candidates.

If you want to know what is really going on in America, turn off the scripted, choreographed pabulum of the major media and pick your spot(s) on the internet.

True chaotic democratic debate blistered the various chat rooms of the various TAR groups previously mention, Ron Pauler’s, Liberty Movement, TEA Party Movement and others.

Discussion Topic headings included:

* Death Strategy of the GOP

* The Death of the GOP

* Where do we go now? and

* Presidential Election 2012

Some disenfranchised Ron Pauler’s, Liberty folks and TEA Party folks vowed not to vote for Romney and to begin forming a 3rd party.

Some disenfranchised Ron Pauler’s, Liberty folks and TEA Party folks said they would hold their nose and vote for Romney because Obama must not be allowed to win. And in the same breath say the day after the election, they would begin forming a 3rd party.

In more extreme groups not affiliated with Ron Pauler’s, Liberty folks or TEA Partiers, there were calls for violent revolution. These folks felt positively revolted by the RNC/Romney Cram down on the rules.

And GOP Loyalists, GOP Operatives and others absolutely horrified at the prospect of Obama being reelected, used alternate strategies of cajoling, intimidation and guilt to attempt to persuade the anti-Mittens folks to agree to vote for Romney.

Before more is said, this writer feels compelled to assert his conservative philosophies. For 20+ years this writer has not only voted Republican, but contributed money, phone called, door knocked, marched in parades, attended rallies and put up yard signs. This is the first presidential election in 20+ years that this writer will do none of those things. This writer feels betrayed by the corrupt incumbent ruling class elite.

Finally, in this original statement of this writer, If the GOP Establishment would abide by the platform and adhere to conservative principles, the Democrat party would be hard pressed to get 25% of the vote.

This writer’s conservative credentials garishly displayed, the attack on the GOP Establishment begins in earnest.

The Republicans often complain that Big Union Bosses to not represent nor act in the best interests of their rank and file membership.

The truth be known the Establishment of both the Republican and Democrat Parties do not respect, represent nor act in the best interests of their respective rank and file members.

These previous and following points were some of the sentiments expressed and heard in these unfiltered chaotic chat rooms of unscripted, democratic exchange.

Fellow Americans, we cannot proceed with politics and Government as usual.

The present state of the economy and the country speaks to the failure of both alleged major political parties.

In 20 years the corrupt, incumbent ruling class has brought us from being the undisputed super power of the world to the brink of collapse.

The County cannot afford to be led by anyone who thinks business as usual is an option… Tough Choices must be made now.

Our national debt exceeds our GDP. We stand at about 105% of GDP, Greece was at 120% when its problems became unable to be concealed.

The dollar is at risk of collapse or, at least, losing its status as the World Reserve Currency.

We have exported much of our manufacturing and the jobs that go with it.

Our Judiciary and Government are systemically corrupt, with no law enforcement able or willing to address the corruption.

Our Liberty exists in name and on paper only. If you dare to criticize the government and are even remotely successful, they punish you. They black list your business. They cost you your job. The Courts fix cases against you. They withhold your government benefits.

This writer posted a list of issues in these various internet chat rooms and asked, what has being Republican done for you with regard to these issues

Bank Bailouts

Other Bailouts

Nationalized Healthcare

Campaign Finance Reform

Balanced Budgets

Fiscal Responsibility and Transparency

Immigration (Bush 1 said amnesty once, build fence, never again)

Government Corruption

Judicial Corruption

Internet Privacy

No Internet Taxation

Term Limits

When most conservatives looked at this list, some made excuses, some refused to believe… but a light of understanding went on in the minds of most of the readers.

Many harsh words and strong feelings were found with the internet chat rooms. Major Media did not cover them because they also benefit from the status quo.

The battle truly is the status quo loyalists vs. WE THE PEOPLE. There is a growing number of citizens who speak openly of political and violent revolution. These are not radical elements. These are true patriots who are now wide awake and call on their fellow American to become Wide Awake.

We live in a Representative Republic in name only. In reality, various methods of oppression cause rank and file Americans to live under tyranny. Just because our government is particularly adept at covert as opposed to overt methods of repression, does not mean we are free.

Where did the money from the bailouts and the stimulus go? Why does government and judicial corruption run rampant? Why can the government now jail belligerents indefinitely without access to a lawyer? Why does our government continue to print worthless money rather than balance the budget?

When will make you a stand?

All over the world, civilian populations are casting off the tyranny that oppresses them, in spite of great odds.

This article is about the 66% of Americans that fall within the middle of the political spectrum. WE the 66% ( ) need to unite against the corrupt, incumbent ruling class.

In this year of crisis, there should only be three issues discussed and debated:

1) Balance the Budget;

2) Government Corruption;

3) Judicial Corruption.

Address these 3 issues and all of America's other pressing issues will be mitigated or become far more manageable.

My fellow American men, are you sheep? Or does the thirst and demand for liberty course through your veins?

Do not dare to call yourself men, if you are willing to let yourselves, your family and your fellow citizens live under the corrupt tyranny our Government has become.

Please join us in casting of the tyranny that surrounds us.

Those were my thoughts.

In Closing:

Thank you, my fellow citizens, for taking your valuable time to read and reflect upon what is written here.

Please join with me in mutually pledging to each other and our fellow citizens our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor to our mutual endeavors of restoring liberty and economic opportunity to WE THE PEOPLE as our Founding Fathers envisioned and intended. [Last Paragraph, Declaration of Independence ]

This article is written with the same intentions as Thomas Paine I seek no leadership role. I seek only to help the American People find their own way using their own “Common Sense”
