Despite varying reports that Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran have been distancing themselves from one another in the wake of his rekindled love for Rihanna, a new report from US Weekly on Friday, Feb. 15 may be throwing everyone a curveball.
It turns out that Brown was indeed spending some time with Karrueche around Valentine’s Day, perhaps resulting in getting somewhat of a cold shoulder from Rihanna while at the Hollywood club Playhouse shortly past midnight on Friday.
On Wednesday, Brown was spotted at the Topshop/Topman launch party at Cecconi’s in Wes Hollywood, as he was joined by other celebrities such as the Kardashians, Kanye West, Kate Bosworth, Kelly Osbourne and Jennifer Lopez.
It turns out that Brown’s companion for the evening was indeed Karrueche, something that surely didn’t sit too well with Rihanna.
And that appears to be exactly why the Bajan songstress refused to get close to Brown the following evening.
"She refused to sit with or even near him," the witness explained of the pair. "When she noticed he was there, she made a huge show of rubbing her presence in his face."
However, don't expect Rihanna to be upset at Brown for too long as she always seems to warm up to him no matter what drama is taking place.
