rePLAY: Symphony of Heroes boasts scores from titles big and small, with AAA games and indie games both being represented. One interesting thing to note is that the concert follows a musical narrative inspired by Joseph Campbell’s “monomyth.” Every program's songs take listeners on "the hero’s journey, a pattern of 17 stages found in both literature and video games, including the call to adventure, supernatural aid, atonement and freedom." rePLAY: Symphony of Heroes isn't just a concert for your audio senses, but your visual senses too with videos from each of the games narrated by Nigel Carrington of Dear Esther.

According to Jason Michael Paul, the creator of rePLAY: Symphony of Heroes:

There’s more to rePLAY: Symphony of Heroes than just a set list; the audience is able to recapture the emotional connection they had with each video game not just through the music, but also by reliving their adventures as the hero. Our close collaboration with the most creative minds in music and games brings a deeper layer of immersion to the concert experience.

In addition to the previously mentioned titles, the program also features mucic from Halo, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, BioShock, and several more award-winning games.
