Reid: People who support Bundy are 'domestic terrorists'

As the Examiner has already noted previously, U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., Senate Majority Leader, referred to rancher Cliven Bundy as a "domestic terrorist." But Reid has now included anyone who supports Bundy in that wide swath of malicious and deadly character assassination.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal,

U.S. Sen. Harry Reid on Thursday called supporters of Bunkerville rancher Cliven Bundy “domestic terrorists” because they defended him against a Bureau of Land Management cattle roundup with guns and put their children in harm’s way.

“They’re nothing more than domestic terrorists,” Reid said during an appearance at a Las Vegas Review-Journal “Hashtags & Headlines” event at the Paris. “I repeat: what happened there was domestic terrorism.”

A few key questions are in order for the Senator. How have Bundy's actions put him in the same league with Timothy McVeigh, Bill Ayers, or Bernandine Dohrn? Has Bundy ever shot a police officer? Has he ever been convicted, or even accused, of murder? Has he ever gone out of his way, per Ayers and Dohrn, to gather murderous thugs who have the stated intention of killing innocent citizens, as the two did in 1960s Chicago during the very first "Days of Rage" in which Ayers encouraged his followers to kill their parents?

When have any of the protesters who have gathered at his ranch in Nevada in a show of support ever done such things to be considered domestic terrorists? Have any gone on a shooting spree at a U.S. military compound, resulting in multiple deaths, such as the Fort Hood shooter? Have any set off a bomb that has killed or injured innocent citizens, such as the Boston Marathon bombers and as Ayers and Dohrn did when they bombed federal buildings in the late 60s and early 70s?

Has Reid ever referred to Bill Ayers as a domestic terrorist? Yet this man still walks the streets as a free man and financed the budding political career of one Barack Obama in Illinois in the early years.

Both Reid and his son, Rory, appear to have a most disturbingly warped sense of right and wrong. Ayers gets a pass. But a lowly cattle rancher in southern Nevada who has never done anything but attempt to make a living is singled out as a domestic terrorist because he refuses to pay grazing fees to the federal government. People who are as warped as Reid are dangerous. And they certainly don't belong in elected political offices.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is run by a Reid crony, one that Reid himself picked for the job. Immediately this smacks of conflict of interest at the very least. The BLM wants Bundy gone because Reid wants him gone. And why does Reid want him gone?

Because if anyone ever bothers to dig deeply into the truth, one will find a mass tumorous growth of corruption, the toxicity of which will immediately kill people with morals and scruples. Reid and his son Rory wanted complete control of that "federal land" for one reason alone -- to complete their sleazy land deal with Chinese Communists who are building a multibillion dollar solar panel plant near the land that is in dispute. Obviously Reid sees the rest of the unused land as potential for another or perhaps many cash cows that he and his son can tap, padding the pockets not only of Clark County commissioners but the state of Nevada, the U.S. government, and that of Reid and his son themselves.

So thoroughly has Reid been corrupted by money that he will do anything to insure no one poses a threat to his ability to manipulate the BLM or county commissioners, getting more suspicious foreign deals approved that involve tons of money. Perhaps Reid wants that land so that the ChiComs can expand their solar panel plant if they want. Perhaps he has other deals in the works. But according to insider sources he is scared to death that uncovering the real story about the land deal, the involvement of his son Rory, and the involvement of the ChiComs that he is willing to do anything to stop any investigation before it begins, by tar and feathering his opposition verbally, maligning their motives, and assassinating their character.

But the very worst part of this whole sordid mess is the chatter that is going on among the BLM, federal law enforcement, and some within the Dept. of Justice. Well placed sources report that some of these LEOs would like nothing better than to open fire on the Bundys and their supporters. They are incensed to the point of rage that they were so condemned in the court of public opinion that they had to withdraw in defeat like whipped puppies with their tails tucked between their legs. They are itching to come back and finish the job, whatever that means.

The facts only get worse, however, when it comes to federal law enforcement. When it comes to the multimillions of acres the Feds have seized through the years, LEOs routinely view ordinary citizens as subjects, not citizens. We are here to do their bidding. To obey without question. They are the king of the hill, the overlords, the masters over the slaves. Their problem, however, is that Americans have been watching this mindset unfold night after night on their TV screens for the past six years, and they are fed up.

A further complication in addition to the attitude of federal law enforcement is the factual information that has been reported repeatedly that the federal government itself has pitted itself against the ordinary citizens. The IRS scandal is the perfect example. Not only has it now become clear that the Obama administration and Congressional Democrats attempted to undercut the will of the people to win elections, but they did so using the most powerful, intimidating civilian force in the federal government, the IRS. This agency, according to emails that were publicized this week, wanted to harass and thwart conservative groups and individuals while giving liberal groups a pass. The record shows that the IRS did not go after liberals. Conservatives were the target, especially Tea Party groups and even the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

And lest anyone attempt to claim that this had no bearing on the upcoming election in 2012, you had best read the evidence and wake up and smell the coffee. The facts showed that the IRS tactics did, indeed, suppress the conservative vote due to its targeting of the Tea Party.

All of this has caused most Americans to pause to consider a disturbing fact -- the IRS views most of us as the enemy, and unless we toe the party line we may find ourselves in the crosshairs of the agency's multiple means of disrupting and even ruining the lives of innocent citizens.

This scandal, along with numerous others that have been created by the thugs in the White House and the Senate, and in the vast unelected bureaucracy, has resonated with the public to the degree that they want something done. And they want it done swiftly and harshly. These are criminals we are talking about who have invaded our government.

With this scandal at the forefront of the minds of the public, the clash at the Bundy ranch only provides for most Americans ample justification for feeling that their government is out of control, that it is now a malevolent force, and that we the people are now the enemy.

Reid says that Bundy broke laws by failing to pay for grazing fees on federal land. My, what a hardened criminal. And for that heinous act he must "pay the price" whatever that means. Well, Mr. Reid, you yourself have broken numerous laws in your zeal to subvert the Constitution to your stench of a progressive vision. So have your colleagues in Congress. You are all lawbreakers. The Attorney General is a law breaker, and he was cited for it when he lied to Congress. The President himself is also a law breaker, failing on numerous occasions to comply with direct court orders.

Thus, as our Founders warned over 200 years ago, when despots somehow creep into public office and enact laws that fly in the face of the Constitution, then those laws are automatically null and void and are to be disobeyed. Not only that but why should citizens have any respect for what you, Mr. Reid, call "the rule of law" when the very government you are a part of ignores the rule of law every single day?

The citizens have lost respect for the law because they see lawlessness on your part and on the part of your colleagues every single day. And for you to have the unmitigated gall to refer to us as "domestic terrorists" is a slap in the face of our Founders, our Constitution, the Bill of rights, and every decent citizen who has ever walked on this land.
