Rapper DMX was arrested in South Carolina for driving without a license. On Feb. 13, TMZ reported that DMX was driving a 1978 Buick around 2 a.m. with his 5-month-old daughter in the back seat. It is unclear why DMX was pulled over in the first place -- whether or not he was driving recklessly or if it was just a police check point. Either way, DMX was taken in to custody.
"No, I didn't have a license ... put the cuffs on me. Brought me here. I paid the money. Basically, just 5 hours wasted for nothing," DMX reportedly said to a local news station after he was released by police.
Rapper DMX was arrested at 2 a.m. which makes people wonder why he was driving around with his baby in the back seat -- but maybe she was fussy and he was trying to soothe her. The report did not say what happened to the baby, but it is assumed that she was also taken to the police station.
DMX has been in quite a bit of trouble so his arrest is making celebrity news today. While driving without a license isn't something that will follow DMX around for the rest of his life, many are wondering if there is more to this story than what is being reported.
Or maybe rapper DMX is right. Him being arrested this time wasn't that big of a deal.
