Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software, took to his Twitter account late yesterday evening to thank fans who had sent him reassuring messages of their support and love for the developer’s recent release, “Aliens: Colonial Marines.” Gearbox Software also updated their website yesterday to mention that this month is the company's 14 year anniversary.
Pitchford told one player, “Thanks for the kind words, you're a hero to me” and said to another fan that his kinds words were “good to hear right now.” Perhaps the well-known figure in the gaming industry is appreciating knowing not everyone dislikes “Aliens: Colonial Marines,” even though looking at the games review scores around the web might lead one to believe otherwise. Randy Pitchford has often times mentioned that he strives to please his fans and dislikes to disappoint.
“Aliens: Colonial Marines,” based upon the popular movie franchise, is out now for the Xbox 360 and Playstation with a Nintendo Wii U version on the way from Gearbox Software. Randy Pitchford is one of the most memorable voices in the gaming industry today and well-known thanks to games such as the “Borderlands” series.
