Queen with Adam Lambert announce summer tour

Adam Lambert will be once again joining Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen for a tour. Lambert along with May and Taylor appeared on Good Morning America to announce that he will once again front the legendary band.

Queen hosted a press conference at Madison Square Garden to announce the tour dates this morning with opening night being June 19th in Chicago at The United Center.

Queen and Adam Lambert performed together at iHeart Radio last year in Las Vegas. Their amazing headline set at the concert included the band's biggest hits "We Will Rock You", "We Are The Champions", "A Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "Bohemian Rhapsody".

The concert followed the band performing a handful of shows which included London's Hammersmith Apollo in 2012.

Adam is currently recording his third studio album and is currently appearing on the fifth season of the television show "Glee".

Queen has lasted over 40 years career. They have sold millions of records, had number one albums and top-charting singles. The band is in the top ten of all-time iTunes sales.They have received seven Ivor Novello Awards, an MTV Global Icon Award, two songs in the Grammy Hall of Fame - “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions”. Those two songs are also remain the most played songs at sports events and arenas around the world. They are the first artist ever to sell over six million copies of an album in the UK with their Greatest Hits album. The band's timeless music continues be recongnized by generation of fan even after the tragic loss of their singer Freddie Mercury.

Tickets will be on sale beginning Friday, March 14 through the Live Nation mobile app and at Livenation.com. American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Monday, March 10 at 10am local time in the USA and Tuesday March 11th at 10am local time in Canada.
