As the rumored Apple Sept. 10 media event that will introduce the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C becomes real, the volume of leaks increases, as well. As reported by 9to5Mac on Sunday, new photos of Apple's "budget" iPhone 5C have appeared online.
These images seem to match an earlier leak of iPhone 5C case boxes from late July.
It's possible, though, looking at the first image, from iApps.im, that the box actually shows an image of an iPhone 5C case and a simulated image of an iPhone 5C.
In addition to that image, a pair of photos claiming to show “iPhone 5C” packaging materials (including the user manual and SIM card ejection tool) emerged on micro-blogging website Sina Weibo (which is China's Twitter clone).
The iPhone 5C will be priced, rumor says, at about $300 or higher unsubsidized. Apple is expected to introduce both this device -- which will reportedly sport iPhone 5 internals along with a color (and cheaper) plastic case -- as well as the flagship iPhone 5S at the aforementioned Sept. 10 press event.
The new iPhone 5S be mostly changed internally, not externally, and is rumored to include a fingerprint scanner, faster processor, and improved camera. It may come in a few more colors, including gold and graphite, but that is unconfirmed.
