Publix issues recall of Chicken Tenders Dog Chew Treats in five states

Publix Super Markets headquartered in Lakeland, Fla. issued on Friday a voluntary recall for Publix Chicken Tenders Dog Chew Treats because the product may contain trace amounts of antibiotic residue.

The UPC code, which can be found on the right hand corner of the product is #41415-18527 and is sold in 3.5 ounce bags. If anyone has purchased the product in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, or Tennessee, please return the packages to Publix for a full refund.

There have been no reported cases of any pet illnesses.
