A life-size collectible Prince George baby doll has hit the market thanks to US-based company Ashton-Drake Galleries. The doll maker has released a special edition Prince George of Cambridge Collectible Doll, it announced Thursday on its website.
The royal baby doll is wearing a 30" gown with lace, chiffon and ribbon which is modeled after the Christening gowns worn for royal baptisms for generations. The Royal Prince doll also comes with a small pillow which includes Prince George's name and his birth date - July 22, 2013.
The 20" porcelain doll has poseable arms and legs and sells for $149.95. The Prince George doll was designed by master doll maker Fiorenza Biancheri. "Each realistic detail of this gorgeous royal Prince royal baby doll is exquisitely hand-painted to perfectly highlight his delicate features," a statement on Ashton-Drake Galleries website reads.
The limited edition royal baby doll comes in a custom collector's box and will only be made for 95 days. Each Prince George doll is hand-numbered and has matching Certificate of Authenticity. The company specifically points out the doll is not a toy and is intended for collectors.
