It all starts up front.

In the game of football, regardless of level, games are won or lost in the trenches.

Milwaukee Mustangs Head Coach Bob Landsee is always on the lookout for "talented fat guys" as he calls them.

To that end, Landsee and the Milwaukee Mustangs of the Arena Football League began putting together their roster for the 2012 season.

The first piece of the puzzle in place is OL/DL Dwayne Lefall, a 6-3, 265-pound Akron Zip alum.

The Mustangs re-signed the lineman Tuesday afternoon, the club announced.

Lefall anchored the line in 2011, playing in 10 and starting nine games for the 'stangs.

He had 16.5 tackles (nine for a loss), 7.5 sacks, three fumbles recovered and six forced.

Lefall was named Defensive Player of the Game in a win over the New Orleans Voodoo.

Lefall has kept his luggage handy having played for the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2005, the Af2's Louisville Fire in 2006, and spent time in the Copper Football League and the UFL in 2010 before coming to Milwaukee.

Season tickets and advertising promotion packages are on sale for the 2012 season.
