"Perfume" is the second single lifted from Spears' upcoming album "Britney Jean." It follows the aggressive EDM track "Work B**ch." This time around, Spears slows things down and gets a little more personal about a recent breakup on the ballad she co-wrote with singer-songwriter Sia. It was produced by will.i.am and Chris Braide.
On the synth-pop ballad, Britney lays her heart out bear as she belts, "And while I wait I put on my perfume, yeah I want it all over you / Gotta mark my territory." Spears was quite the balladeer on her first albums "...Baby One More Time" and "Oops!... I Did It Again" and she finds her voice once again on this revealing single, giving her best vocal performance in recent years. Fans wanted a more personal "Britney Jean" and they get the real Britney down to her very essence on the beautifully stunning tune "Perfume."
"Perfume" will be released to iTunes on November 4. The "Britney Jean" will later drop on December 3.
