Potential ‘Modern Warfare 4’ image appeared online; clarification posted (Photos)

A clarification has been made in regards to a potential image that was supposedly leaked for the rumored upcoming multiplatform video game, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.” According to a report by Stick Skills on Feb. 17, the artwork in question was actually made by a fan named Ahmed Malaka last year. You can check out the “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4” fan made image, as well as some screens from the recently-released “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2,” in the slideshow at the top of this article.

“Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” was released by Activision for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on Nov. 13, 2012. The Nintendo Wii U version also came out several days later on Nov. 20. You can purchase the first-person shooter in the following link: “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2”

During their latest conference call, Activision confirmed that they will be releasing a new “Call of Duty” video game, which will most likely be called “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4,” in late 2013.
