Matthew Monie, 6, was last seen playing in the yard of a home in the 9000 block of Lone Oak Drive in Shreveport, Louisiana on Sept. 13, 2013 at around 4 p.m., according to the Shreveport Times.
He has not been seen since.
Around 6:45 p.m. Shreveport police responded to the scene after being alerted to his disappearance, reports KSLA.
They searched the area and were unable to locate little Matthew.
According to the Times, authorities are concerned for his welfare.
Matthew is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is about 3-foot-5 and weighs approximately 46 pounds.
At the time he went missing, Matthew was wearing his school uniform, which includes a red polo type shirt, khaki pants, and blue and yellow tennis shoes.
