Nintendo may be planning to release two Nintendo 3DS XL system bundles for the upcoming video games, “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” According to a report by Destructoid on Aug. 20, the inventory tracking system of Target showed that the handheld system will be getting special game bundles later this year in the North American region.
Nintendo is planning to package “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” with the following colors for the Nintendo 3DS: red and blue. Based on the color schemes, the “Pokemon X” would be included with the blue Nintendo 3DS XL while “Pokemon Y” should be a part of the bundle for the red Nintendo 3DS XL. Both products will be priced at $199.99, which is the same price point as the standard standalone Nintendo 3DS XL systems.
A new deluxe edition of the Nintendo Wii U should also be announced. The new bundle, which costs $349.99, for the home console will include a copy of “The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD.” The package is expected to come out later this October.
The “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” Nintendo 3DS XL system bundles could be launching in the North American region on Oct. 12, the same day as the release of the two titles.
