Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, 86, married former "Girls Next Door" star Crystal Harris, 26, last night on New Year's Eve in an intimate ceremony at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.
The marriage is a bit of a surprise since Hefner and Harris had planed to marry on June 18, 2011, however just five days before the wedding Harris called it off. Harris was dubbed the "Runaway Bride" with a sticker on the July issue of Playboy magazine which had already gone to print showing Hefner and Harris on the cover as a married couple.

Harris recently explained what changed her mind. "When the wedding didn't work out the first time, it was because of me. I needed to explore out there and take the time away from Hef and the Mansion. The time away really helped make me realize that where I'm meant to be is here with Hef," Harris told Us Weekly. "Our relationship is better than it ever has been before. I'm very happy and Hef's very happy and we're excited."
This makes the third time Hefner has been married. It was in 1949 when the Playboy mogul married Mildred Williams and had two children, Christie and David. After Hefner suffered a minor stroke in 1985 at age 59, the following year he married Playmate of the Year, Kimberley Conrad. The couple had two sons, Marston Glenn and Cooper Bradford.
"Today is the day I become Mrs. Hugh Hefner. Feeling very happy, lucky, and blessed," Harris tweeted before the wedding. She also tweeted pictures of herself in her wedding dress and part of the wedding ceremony.
During a recent interview Hefner said he wants to stay with Crystal until he dies and insists he doesn't care about the 60-year age difference between them.
