Pikachu 3DS XL and Wii U get gift cards, B1G1 40 percent off games at TRU (Photos)

Target is not the only one running a special with the debut of the Pikachu Edition Nintendo 3DS XL. Toys R Us is offering a discount plus a gift card in its sales flyer for the week of Sunday, March 24. The Wii U throws in with a gift card as well for both versions of the console.

Meanwhile, all video games will enjoy a buy one, get one 40 percent off deal from the toy retailer. This includes the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and DS. This is potentially good timing for those anticipating the release of BioShock Infinite, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity and Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel this week.

As a reminder, Toys R Us only honors gift card offers in-store and not online. So, you'll have to locate your nearest physical store for some of these deals.
