Photos: SXSW 2014 - Kurt Vile, Dum Dum Girls, Big Freedia at Sailor Jerry House

Our favorite flavored spirit, Sailor Jerry Rum hosted the Sailor Jerry House at the Gypsy Lounge from Tuesday to Saturday during the South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival. The week kicked off with a surprise acoustic performance by Kurt Vile. The Dum Dum Girls also performed (and got tattoos) from legendary artist, Oliver Peck who starred on reality show, Ink Masters. Fans were offered free Sailor Jerry tattoos chosen at random by a spin at the wheel by Keith Underwood who owns Austin Tattoo Company. Underwood is a legacy artist who learned the trade from Mike "Rollo" Malone who worked with Norman "Sailor Jerry" Collins. Other guests who stopped by included SXSW performer, Big Freedia and model Alysha Nett. Even Austin competitive eater, Todd Rungy made an appearance after he heard doughnut trailer Gourdough's were at the Gypsy Lounge.

We even joined the fun and got Oliver to ink us with a badass Sailor Jerry design. Watch an Instagram video of our session aboard the Sailor Jerry Airstream and be jealous.

Browse through the great shots captured by official Sailor Jerry photographer Nate "Igor" Smith. If you were there, you might even find a shot of yourself among the images of SXSW fans in the slideshow.

Special thanks to Oliver Peck, Keith Underwood, Dana Dynamite and Paul Monahan
