Citypeek Patti reported this morning that the Phillips Inner Harbor location will close on September 30, 2011. The Phillips location has been around since 1980 and will leave the chain with 16 locations. Phillips was one of the original tenants in Harborplace. The restaurant has been suffering from reviews of a decline in the quality of its food and service.

Phillips claims it is looking for future opportunities in Maryland. There has been no word on what will happen to the empty space in the Harborplace shops.
