Philadelphia Eagles rumors have a DeSean Jackson injury taking place in practice this week. It seems that Jackson tweaked his ankle injury and had to be limited in practice as a result. According to a report from late Wednesday (Oct. 30), he should still be able to play in the Week 9 game against the Oakland Raiders.
It looks like he should still be a good start against a weak defense from the Raiders. This seems like something he should be able to play through, even though it might limit the burst he can get off the line on deep routes. Still, he is a must-start in typical fantasy football formats, especially because he is the best receiver on that roster.
Nick Foles is expected to be the starting quarterback, meaning there could be a lot of targets to be had for Jackson. A 100-yard game should not be surprising, even if he does have a bum ankle. That being said, this is a situation that fantasy owners should pay attention to as the game approaches, just in case it happens to get worse. Unfortunately the team has a late game start on Sunday (Nov. 3).
To sum it up, the Philadelphia Eagles rumors out there state that DeSean Jackson has an injury but that he should play and that the starting quarterback will be Nick Foles against the Oakland Raiders.
